Our webinars attendees are a mix of existing contacts and leads. The webinar invite is typically sent to existing contacts, but new webinar registrations will generate leads from a marketing form. This limits our ability to use Events for webinar attendee management. Because we send emails both before and after the webinar, we end up creating three communication threads. One for those invited that didn't register, one for registered but didn't attend, and one for attended.
Our plan is to use Marketing Lists for these groups and then use those in a real time journey.
We are also thinking about using campaigns as a checklist of everything that needs to happen in the webinar process.
We only moved onto the Dynamics Marketing platform from Hubspot earlier this year, so I hoped to hear from others about how you manage your webinars within Dynamics.
