How are you managing webinars?

Our webinars attendees are a mix of existing contacts and leads. The webinar invite is typically sent to existing contacts, but new webinar registrations will generate leads from a marketing form. This limits our ability to use Events for webinar attendee management. Because we send emails both before and after the webinar, we end up creating three communication threads. One for those invited that didn't register, one for registered but didn't attend, and one for attended. 

Our plan is to use Marketing Lists for these groups and then use those in a real time journey. 

We are also thinking about using campaigns as a checklist of everything that needs to happen in the webinar process.

We only moved onto the Dynamics Marketing platform from Hubspot earlier this year, so I hoped to hear from others about how you manage your webinars within Dynamics.

    Hi,

    You can set the marketing form to create and update contacts only.

    The challenge we have with that is that Parent Account is required in our environment so we can only create leads with forms. I know I can use Power Automate to create or update contacts from leads which is easy enough to do by matching the email address, but the account is significantly more challenging.
