Project sales tax - Project invoice proposal

Dear Experts,

When i run the Project invoice proposal for T&M project.

Although I reselect the Item sales tax group and Sales tax group (See below PIC)

The Item sales tax group and Sales tax group on Invoice journal transactions are still the same with value on Project journal (Project sales tax fields). And cannot reselect the Item sales tax group.

=> My question is: Is MS designed this function this way?

    ThuNgo,

    Yes, Tax setup (i.e. Sales tax group and Item sales tax group) on project invoice proposal will be copied from their posting sources (e.g. Expense journal. fee journal and hour journal). Although you can change the tax setup on "Create invoice proposal" form, it is not possible to change these two values on Invoice proposal.

    PS.  The other fields on this form is not available for modifying

    Hi ThuNgo,

    Alireza is correct. In addition, you can use the Adjustment functionality to change the Tax settings on the posted transactions before getting them in the invoice proposal.

    The Adjustment option doesn't works for the Begining balance transactions, is there a way to make those transactions taxable?
