Setting default view

Hi,

We have a third party solution installed on top of our internal solution which has caused a few changes on our entities, which i can re-do.

However, one thing that i am struggling to re-set is the default views.

When as an Admin or as a user i navigate to an entity(for example: CRM->Sales->Leads) the default view is showing a different view to what it was before.

I have tried the following: Solution->entity->View and set it as default->Publish all customisation, but nothing is changing, i have also cleared the cache.

Please suggest.

Thanks,

PS10

    Hi PS10,

Have you tried to set the default view by switching to the view you need to set as default and then clicking the "Set current view as my default"?

    Hi Nya,

I can pin the view as my personal view that is not what i am looking for, it has to be for every CRM user across the organisation.

    Thanks,

    Hi PS10,

One thing you can do is to set the original view as default.

Add both views , current default view and previous one in the solution.

Now try to make previous view default.

    And publish all customisations.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

What version of Dynamics CRM you are using?

Have you tried performing the  below operation using different browser -

I have tried the following: Solution->entity->View and set it as default->Publish all customisation

Are you facing this issue for all entities or specific entity?

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!

    Hi,

If none of the suggestions above worked, maybe you can try to duplicate (save as) your view, give it a new name, set it to default view and publish. Delete the initial view if the issue is resolved.
