How to Restore deleted Posted Journals in AX 2012

Hi All,

In AX 2012 ,there is an option called 'Ledger Journal clean up ' in GL>>Periodic>>Ledger Journals clean up. unknowingly i cleaned up and all the posted journals got deleted. If i go into GL>> General Ledger i cannot able to see any posted Journals. How can i recover this. Its really urgent. Please help me.Thanks

    Hello Durgaprasad,

    Deleting the journals does not remove the vouchers that have been posted in the journal. So you should still be able to identify all postings sre in your trial balance.

    For restoring the deleted journals there is no standard functionality available. The only thing you can do in my opinion is putting a data base backup in. This does however mean that all transactions that have been recorded since the last backup would have to be entered once again.
