Integrate sdandard Axapta reports in Sharepoint

ReportReport

I need a way to show standard Axapta report in share point. I deployed these standard reports to SSRS, and I can open reports in Axapta. How can I open these reports through Share point? I tried to open one report in Browser and received error: "Failed to initialize Business connector". I can open any of standard Axapta reports in axapta, but when I try to open one of the report in browser error appeared: "An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Cannot read the next data row for the data set BankAccountParam. (rsErrorReadingNextDataRow) Dynamics Object Adapter Call failed. User 'ap' is not authorized to select a record in table 'BANKACCOUNTTABLE'. Request denied. Cannot select a record in Bank accounts (BankAccountTable). Access Denied: You do not have sufficient authorization to modify data in database. " "ap" is the alias of my domain user. Why the same report is executed with different accounts ? Where I can find info about how to open these standard reports in browser?

Can you clarify how are you trying to access SSRS reports from share point: do you mean Ax Enterprise Portal (EP) or through a regular share poin site using report viewer webpart?  But first of all, are you able to access report via Report Manager UI (http://<yourSsrsSserverName>/reports)?

To answer your question regarding security: SSRS connects to Ax using BC.NET connecting as BC.net account and inpersonating the user who is envoking the report.  Is your BC.net configured correctly?  Does ap user acctually have permissions to 'BANKACCOUNTTABLE'?

Here is a good walk-through for creating and deploying SSRS report from scratch which might help you:

    Hope this helps

I'm trying to open report through a regular share point site using report viewer webpart. I can open some of Standard AX reports on http:///reports, but at some reports I have the exception that my actual "ap" user doesn't have access to 'BANKACCOUNTTABLE'. But I can open the report from Axapta. I think it is opened by another user, by user who is used by Axapta to Acces DB.

Here is how user permissions are being flown between Ax client, SSRS, AOS, and database: User x opens SSRS report in Ax client via menu item (or opens report via  SSRS Report Manager) > call is made directly to SSRS server to get report content connecting to SSRS using user x windows credentials > SSRS is using BC.net account to connect to AOS passing user x credentials to AOS > AOS retrieves data based on user x permissions in Ax and returns it to SSRS > SSRS renders report to the user Based on this, I don’t quite see how you can see content of Ax SSRS report (developed using Ax Reporting Tools in VS) connecting from Ax Client and not being able to see the same report if you connect directly from http://<yourSSRS>/reports.  Are you sure that from Ax Client you are accessing SSRS report and not legacy MorphX report? Trying to view SSRS report from share point (not Enterprise Portal) using standard report share point web part is not a supported scenario.  Recommended way is to use Ax Report viewer webpart in Ax Enterprise Portal.

Use the SSRS web part available in sharepoint.  It is super easy!

See how to so it here:

    Hope this helps!

Hi, EduardoAndres, I also need to access ax ssrs report in regular sharepoint site, I am not sure if it is right below. 1 develop ax ssrs report in visual studio 2008; 2 deploy this report to reporting server which is not integrated with sharepoint (Because ax 2009 ssrs report can't be deployed to the reporting server which is integrated with sharepoint) 3. share point should install reporting server Add-in so that we can use reporting viewer web part or reporing explorer web part to access the ax ssrs report. Please let me know that. Thanks
