I have a scenario, in which I wanted to track the locations of Resource when the Resource set the status "Travelling". Is there any possibility to track the locations on Map?
Like, Uber map?
If you have Geolocation setup in your instance and Location setting (GPS) enabled on the mobile device, then yes you should be able to track the resource on a map.
The other option is....if this is for a customer, then you would want to use the Field Service Portal / Technician Locator functionality.
For the near term the app "Field Service (Dynamics 365) Preview" on a Windows device (We have Surface Go's) Geo location is missing. Believe it works as expected on Android/Apple devices. Stumbled on the "missing feature" notes at the very bottom of a document. Hoping the Preview is removed soon... Microsoft;)
PS Waiting for this feature to work as expected without extra "R" solution.
