It can also be a matter of anti-virus software interference, e.g. Avast or Symantec Endpoint Protection. Does it have any?

Yes, you have to change all the classic clients.

If it is really critical, go with latest build available for NAV 2009 R2. You need to take the backup of current database, take DB in single user mode and follow the hotfix applications steps. It is not that difficult.

If the problem is somehow manageable, try to identify the exact process / report for the root cause. I am not sure, if any other possible solution to your problem at the moment.

May be you can log the case with MS and see if they still support your version and have some solution to your problem.

You should apply latest hotfix and you can update it through .bat file with help of system admin on every client.

Hi Sandeep, there are two or three users launching automatically these processes. All of them are super users in nav.

Hi Vishal, If I apply the latest hotfix we have to change all the classic clients no? We have about 100 Navision clients.

It is dificult to know wich is the exact process. We are guesting that.

Are you facing this error on every machine with same user or different user?

If you didn't try above please check it with another machine with super user permission.

The best way to overcome this issue is applying latest platform hotfix.

Also, check the specific functionality or report, which can cause such issue.  Can you please suggest the specific event that you are facing such issue?
