Unable to find the report template in visual studio 2010

Hi,

I am using AX 2012 r3, I  have installed visual studio 2010 and ssdt tool for developing reports but when I open the visual studio 2010 I can't able to find any template regarding the AX reports.

Please advise, if I have missed anything to install to work on the reports.

    Hi AXTechie2120,

    Try to go to AOT, open Visual Studio Projects node -> Dynamics AX model Projects, find report you want to edit -> right click -> edit. It should open it in Visual Studio for you.

    Thanks for your reply,

    but i am getting the following error.

    "The operation cannot be completed because Visual Studio Tools for Microsoft Dynamics AX are not installed. Install the missing component and try again."

    Hi,

    You must install Visual Studio Tools from AX installer.
