Export Inventory for load into new system

Hi all,

I am loading data into a new BC17 install, what is the best way to extract all item inventory levels and locations, for me to the load into new version, currently using NAV 2017?

    Marley,

    Create a RapidStart configuration package to export all the Item Table fields. You can also Export the Locations and, if using, Bins. This export will create the Master records. If you are trying to load opening Inventory quantities, then I would run a Physical Inventory Journal, by Location and Bin (if using). I would then run a RapidStart configuration package to export the Physical Inventory Journal into Excel. In BC, I would create a Configuration Package to the Item Journal (Table 83) and copy the Item/Location/Bin quantities to the Item Journal Excel sheet. Then you can Import and Post.
