Adjust Currency Fx Rate When Settling Two Invoices Against Each Other?

Hello,

I am trying to find out if it is possible to adjust the currency exchange rate when settling an invoice and a credit memo against each other. Currently, the invoice was posted a month earlier than the credit memo, so its causing a $21 discrepancy resulting in a balance on the vendor account.

Is there a way to adjust this rate during the settling process under vendor transactions (separate of that of a vendpay journal)?

Hi Casey,

You can't change the exchange rate during settlement. You can only manage the exchange rate while posting the invoice, credit note, and payments.

In this case, it would add an additional transaction for the exchange rate result. In case you don't want that, you can reverse the credit note or add new customer transactions via a general journal and set the correct exchange rates.
