Standard Concurrent User Per AOS Instance

Posted on by 345

Hi AX experts,

I've been tuning AX performance.

Please let me know if there is any proper number of concurrent user for one AOS instance.

If it is ambiguous to decide the number then is there any standard or remarkable index that help me decide the proper number?

Thanks.

    Hi Daniel,

You have to see if the issues will be related to certain processes or are system wide. Then use monitoring systems to find out what is happening. You can use the next page for an introduction: docs.microsoft.com/.../tools-for-monitoring-performance

When you can't find the real culprit yourself, try to find a performance expert who can come on-site to assist you or if you allow, remote access to help is also an option. We do offer performance improvement services, but probably it would be better to find someone in your region; for the language and time zone.

    Thanks Andre,

Our server has already more cores and memory than the requirement, but it has severe performance problem sometimes.

I don't know how can I approach this situation.

    Hi Daniel,

There is no best practice here. It depends on the type of users, number of cores and available memory.
