I am relatively new to AX Management Report and no one at my work knows if this is possible and I haven't been able to find anything online....
I want to be able to create a financials statement where I can drill-in a specific line, say "Cash" and then see the balances of all the accounts that make up that balance. I would think it would you could build a set of reporting trees for this, but for the life of me I can't get anything to work. Anyone have any luck with this or be able to provide a link to instructions?
We use Dynamix 2012
Thanks!
Hi Darth Nosaj,
If you create a report line called cash and link it to an account category called "cash" then you will get your drill down.
To make this happen correctly, you need to link all of your cash accounts to that "cash" category in your COA.
What might help are the standard / default row definitions that MS ships with the management reporter.
Have a look at them and try to setup your report alike.
Best regards,
Ludwig
