Customer Survey by email - Anonymous responses - Reporting

Posted on by

Hi,

In Customer Survey by email, when Anonymous responses in Distribution settings is set to Yes, responses from recipient contact list are treated anonymously.

However, in reports (such as Responses) the recipient contact name and status (such as responded) still are visible. So we are able to see which one of the recipients have replied and which not.

Is this usual behaviur or is there an additional setting to so that even the contact name and status would not be shown in reporting?

Many thanks for help!

    Hi,

Based on your query I am assuming that by Report you are indicating the Invite Report on the Send tab, where the Status details get displayed,ie, Sent, Responded etc. If the recipients are saved contact in your CRM, then the names of the contacts will also appear in this tab.

However, in the Report tab, where the actual responses of the recipients are captured, if you click on the Respondents tab, the recipients will be captured as "Anonymous" . That is the behavior by design. If you need more clarity on your use case, please drop a mail to richowdh@microsoft.com and we can quickly sync on the same.
