Form opens in Details View instead of Grid View

Hello to everyone.

I have a very strange issue.

I have a menuItem (display) that opens a custom form for workOrder journals.

I had change the formViewOption from auto to Grid to open the form in Grid View.

I placed the same menuItem in two different places.

First in the workOrder form (it works fine, it opens everytime in the Grid view.)

The second place is the menu of EntAsset. (If I try to open the form from there, it opens everytime in details View)

Does anyone understand why this can be happening?

I guess setting form view option on the menu item to auto will work properly if the design is correct.

Try changing the form view option to auto and check.

I have already try this. I changed to all posible options in FormViewOption.(Auto, Grid, Details, Header, Hub)

Inside the form it works correctly.

From the menu it keeps opening on Details View.

On the details or list page form - On the Action pane >> Options(Tab) >> Page options >> Go to >> You can select either grid or details form using go to drop dialog button. Check whether that go to button is showing on the list page and details form.

Also try to create separate menu item and add that menu item to menus and check.

Also tried those stuff...

If you press the button above the header ("All Journals"), or if you go from Go to --> Grid it seems that everything is fine.

The problem is that it is not opening on this view Directly, and you have to press a button to go on this view.

Also the menuItem is already seperated.

The original solution have four menuItems (three in the workOrder form that is given an enumParameter to filter the records by a status field and one that has no enumParameter to return all records from the Assets Menu)

I just find weird that only the menuItem that was not inside the workOrders didnt work properly and I tested it by adding this one also in the form with the other three menuItems.

And there I found that is works properly.

I found the issue.

On some of these records, the tables that are related as children had no data inside.

And for some reason it didnt work properly. I deleted all corupted records and now it works properly.
