Use Dynamics 365 View as PowerApps Data Source

I want to build a canvas PowerApp that will trigger individual Customer Voice surveys with a button.  I have a view in Dynamics 365 Sales containing fields from a custom entity and some related fields from the Contacts entity.  I would like to use this view as the data source for the PowerApp solution.  Is that possible?

    Hi @Merlin1

To retrieve data from a view from a canvas app, you can set the data source of data control such as a gallery to name of your custom entity. You can then use the views dropdown to select your view.

This is information.  Not a solution.

The PowerApps is an application development platform that is part of the broader Microsoft Power Platform, whose capabilities are built on and utilize Azure cloud services. Dynamics 365 for Sales, Service, Field Service, Marketing, and Talent are all built natively on the platform. In Power Apps, most canvas apps use external information stored in cloud services called Data Sources. A common example is a table in an Excel file stored in OneDrive for Business. Apps access these data sources by using Connections. It's easy to create an app that does basic reading and writing to a data source.
