There is an standard AR parameter setting that allows you auto settling open transactions.
Maybe this is already sufficient and you don't need to code something.
Otherwise, you can possibly borrow from what MS provides out of the box.

Please override write method in CustTransOpen data source and in this method update the mark to yes.
