Hi,

Im looking to create an Event in Customer Journeys, however, the templates have the audience set to Contacts and i need this to Leads. There is nowhere i can find how to change this.
I cannot either /create a new form/ which is blank, as again the audience setting is set to Contact.

Any ideas?
/Chris

    Hi Partner,
Before selecting any template, you can select audience:

    Hi,

For Events you create standard Contacts.
If you wantyou can also create leads, but asfar as i know you can not only create leads for Event Registrations.

You can also read my blog on Linkedin on this topic.

    Hi Marco van der H,

Thank you for your post, both here and on LinkedIn.

I am experiencing the same challenge on RTM > Event Planning. It is not possible to select an existing form; one must choose a default one (which target audience is set to "Contact"), or one can create a new one (by default the target audience is set to "Contact". That said, it seems that we can select a target audience for the form (inside Event Planning), but then the only option is "Contact". See snippet.

If I understand you correctly, we must choose the Contact option, and then enable "Create leads for event registrations". See snippet.

My concern is that even if it creates leads by default, there will be a lot of data clean up in the Contact entity because the "company" name the audience put in will not match existing Accounts exactly. This may mean a lot of manual clean up.

I will have to test what happens, but if anyone has suggestions to overcome this challenge, I'd highly appreciate it.

    Regards,
    Mauricio

P.S. To Leah Ju's post, I'd like to point out that the form created in her example is created in Forms under the Real Time Marketing area. This is different than making a form from the "Event Planning" area. The same functionality/capability does seem to be in place.
