when selecting settlement type "open transaction" in certain journal it should settle with open transaction for the same vendor once journal posted . this is without activating auto settlement in parameter as i want to settle only what i select . although this is done successfully in UAT, it doesn't make settlement in production

    Hello,

    Can you check how the open transaction was recorded? You can settle the invoice as an open transaction.
    For D365FO to recognize it as an invoice, the invoice number must be entered and approved.
     

    This issue appeared because the migration was run incorrectly.
    When posting an invoice in D365FO, both the invoice number and approver are mandatory.
