Connecting a client fails

Hey!

I have installed windows 8.1 on a laptop and installed freshly nav 5.1 (i thin kthis is 2007 version ) client version but when i want to connect to the server database it is not seeing the server... how should I proceed? i have tried several things but still the server cannot be found.

    Are you using NAV5.1 with SQL database? can you send some screenshots?
