Events portal is supposed to be ready to use OOB with very little customization, but here is what you get on the portal's home page:

This portal uses sample data for illustration purposes. To make event information visible here, you must configure an event using the "Event/event name" site setting.

The event portal provides content, templates, and infrastructure to help you get started and develop your portal quickly and efficiently. It makes use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 portal services to reliably host your content.

I opened a support case with Marketing Team, and believe or not it got me no where. If this content snippet is put on Events portal, there should be also easy way to remove it without hiring someone who knows Angular! Come on!!!!

Best of luck - regrettably there are several major shortcomings in the portal. Has definitely had unforseen costs - hope they evolve it quickly - lots of potential.

Thank you for your response. That is what we are doing to resolve this issue now, which should have not been there to begin with.

I wish I could be of more help Hakki but we are in production with Events Portal and it has been quite a mountain to climb with our implementation partner.

Indeed hiring someone that knows Angular is about your only option at this point. :/
