How do I setup Leave forfeit in MS Talent?

Can you elaborate on your business needs?
Do you want to control the rollover of annual leave carryover or adjust the balance of your leave plan?
Do the maximum carry-forward in Accrual schedule meet your requirement? Or do some adjustment for the employee?

We would like to setup a leave transaction to automatically roll over and forfeit leave for example:
Annual leave:
Entitled to 1.25 days per month, 15 days a year, but you can carry forward 10 days to the next cycle. But the employee should use the carried forward leave within the first 6 months of the next cycle or they will need to forfeit the leave.
How will I setup this scenario?

There is no OOB function in talent to automatically forfeit the leave. You can propose an idea.
On the leave plan, you can set the carry forward amount to 0 and this would result in employees with a balance forfeiting that balance at the beginning of the leave year (start date of the leave plan).
