Hi All,

I have updated my AX2009 development environment with fresh data, but now in the Inventory Journal, the new journal appears grayed out.

Can this will be configurated to be available again?

Or I missed something?

By the way I have done this process a lot of times, but this is the first time whit this problem.

Any Idea?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi Miguel,

Which journal type did you use or is there no difference between e.g. profit and loss and transfer journals? I assume you are the administrator in this environment. Can you check if the Inventory journal names contains the correct setup?

Can you also verify if the security permissions for the administrator still contains the required records?

    Hi André,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, there is no difference between journals and the names of the journals are ok.

Where can I check the permissions for the administrator?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Miguel,

You can go to Administration > Setup > User groups.

Select the group 'Admin'. Then click the button Permissions.

Select the row with user group and domain Admin and select the tab Permissions.

Locate the inventory journal menu items. Now all menu items should have full control.

    Usually this is filled correctly.

    Hi André,

I review it the permissions and appears like some permissions was not set up correctly.

This is strange due to I´m using the admin user and it is supposed to have full control, right?

By the other way there is some permissions where I can´t give the full Access permission.

Do you know if I can thake a different approach to give full Access to the admin user?

    Thank you in advance.
