Yes you can do that, please check the below blog, you can use a job queue to automate the process of saving the report as PDF or Excel then email.

The job function is not in our license.

    The situation is this.

We work together with another company that uses Nav. We have our own webshop (Prestashop) and we also sell their products.

What i would like is getting their stock in our prestashop.

We are in the same building using same network. I asked for some view only account in their Nav, but they say that requires to buy a new expensive license (they used all their licenses).

    Is this so?

Maybe someone has another great idea for me!

You can ask the partner to schedule the report in navision and export inventory for every hour and send email to you

    Or

If you know sql then create a query in sql and see the stock by running the query

You or your partner can write and schedule a job in SQL as well, if you dont find access to Job Queue.

    Dear Folkifoon ,

Got your point , this is easy thing

First check with them are the having any reporting module like ....

    Power BI

Oracle BI (This implement will be little bit hardy)

If they having "Power BI" your task is so much easy just need to import table and you can get the data

    if not......(other best solution)

you can use "SQL Report Builder"

Not for email but you can run the report any time you want and get the data

i think this will be best fit for you

If the have sql expert ask them to develop report through sql builder and forward you

or follow the link to Setup & Builder Tutorials

Thank you all for thinking with me. I heard i someone can make a script that conncets the database from Nav directly with my Prestashop MySQL so it can update the stock. If i get that to work it would be the best solution.
