Hi,
We have an employee who uses Windows 10 on his laptop, and remotes into NAV which is on a Windows2012 server at a remote location. He is currently having issues with what we assume is the aspect ratio settings, when he is logged in through RDC to the NAV server and prints a document it is zoomed in to the point that it cuts off and a 3rd of the page. We've also noticed his desktop icons are larger than normal.
He does use a larger monitor that he plugs into his laptop and then turns off the laptop display, my theory is that may have something to do with why it is changing.
We have tried unplugging the monitor and restarting in almost every sequence we can think of, nothing has worked. The closest I got was going in and editing the RDC file to lock the aspect ratio to a 4:3 resolution, but that left us with oversized everything in NAV and did not allow him to use the RDC in full screen.
We have many other staff (all of them have Windows 7 if that makes any difference) who do the same thing and do not have this problem.
Hopefully someone can help us out!

Hi, So we did find that, and have played with it to make the printing work properly. The only downside is it ends up taking us out of full screen and causing a more frustrating view of the remote desktop. All of the other computers that do this are able to use full screen without issue, and even this one can sometimes, but others it seems to have this aspect issue. Some research I found was that it could be a smart sizing issue which we checked within the .RDC file and seems to be correct.
The only differences this computer has compared to others is that it is a Laptop with an extra screen, and that it is on Windows 10. Would either of those factors be the reason why?
Hi,
While connecting to Remote desktop, what is the configuration under Display TAB > display configuration? Is it full screen?
How about other application Icons / Behaviour? Is it different or normal?
Also it could be compatibility issue between Windows 10 & Windows 2012 server....
Check following link and check compatibility settings...

Hope this helps.
