Inventory: Job Not Cancelled Properly, Stock Still Allocated. How Do I Release Stock?

Hi,

We have a job in great plains (very old version 6).

We have cancelled the job, which usually works just fine. However, this time it is saying the job has been cancelled but the stock remains allocated.

Usually the stock is unallocated and free to use and the sales order can be amended.

IS THERE ANY PROCESS THAT CAN FREE THIS STOCK FROM A SUPPOSEDLY CANCELLED JOB SHEET?

TIA

    Have you followed the instructions to clear all activity? Do this when no one is in GP then run IV Reconcile again.

    DELETE DYNAMICS..ACTIVITY

    DELETE DYNAMICS..SY00800

    DELETE DYNAMICS..SY00801

    DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_SESSION

    DELETE TEMPDB..DEX_LOCK

    Did not work? Kicked everyone out, made sure nothing else was being done. Just says, cannot be done whilst transactions are being edited. Very frustrating!

    I will give that a go, thanks.

    I am on Windows 10 and it runs fine, or has been anyway. Been using it almost the entire 21 years I have worked for the company :)

    Tools->Utilities->Inventory_>Reconcile

    What version of Windows are you running? How did you keep it running this long?
