SALES PERFORMANCE chart

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Trying to create a new chart apart from the default one. However, while in CRONUS there are already some options:

 Capture11221.JPG

In the customer's database, since it was built from sketch, there are no options:

This client wanted to have a SALES by SALESPERSON chart. However, I can't find any tutorials about how to create all the new required fields, like: Item Analysis View Code, etc. For example, the Analysis Line Template Name & the Analysis Column Template Name, can be created on the same window by selecting 'NEW', however by creating a new Analysis Column Template with a different name, the function still remains the same.

Can anyone help me step by step or how to create a new SALES performance PLEASE.

Thanks!

    RE: SALES PERFORMANCE chart

To create business charts you need to create analysis views. Please refer the given PDFlink for that.

    Hi Jref,

These Business charts are based on the Analysis view data so you need to create the Analysis view first to create the report data and charts.

You go through the below links. Hope this will help you or tell us if you still need any specific information

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh896038(v=nav.70).aspx

There are some links at the bottom of this above given link pages so you can explore from there.

    Regards,

I checked those links already Jose. What I need is something from the SETUP of NAV RTC and not coding. That's customization in a way.

Oh, in that case, here go a couple of links (part 1 and 2). These are quite technical, but they should give you the knowledge you require to manage them.

    Hi Tharanga,

The links you sent me are about GENERIC CHARTS and NOT Business Charts. I know how to create the Generic Charts. But I need to know how to manage the Business Charts like Finance Performance Chart, Sales Performance Chart, etc.

    :/

    Hi Jose,

Those are Generic Charts not Business Charts. Business Charts are like: Sales Performance, Finance Performance, Trailing Sales Order, etc. These have different settings like Generic Charts.
