Good morning,

i have one dll and i have added as reference to project .

Then that .axpp file is exported and imported in another environment.

how can i add it to TFS.

in solution explorer i found my package and there is descriptor folder .

What should i do now.

Should i right click and select add item to folder or should i create new folder like Dll and add all dlls to that folder ?

Please provide some light on this.

Regards.

Have a great day.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi AX 2012 r3,

Do you have an Azure DevOps account (formerly known as Visual Studio Online) linked in your Visual Studio environment? If so, create a solution where you have enabled source control. In that case, it is linked to "TFS".

You exported the objects as AXPP file. In that case, possibly the dll won't be included. Try to export as model instead. If both environments are linked to the same DevOps account, you can simply open the solution and choose the option to get the latest files from the source repository if you checked in the dll (and possibly other objects).

In TFS you can add new files in the source control by using the Source Control Explorer and selecting "Add items to folder".

You should place your DLLs in /AOSService/PackagesLocalDirectory/MyPackage/MyModel/Bin, then it will work well with build & deployment.

If you have Azure dev ops account and If you VM is connected to it , it is very simple. You just have to follow process defined in the above article . Add reference in you project > right click on the added reference > Add file to source control . Then from Team explorer > pending changes check in those files .  Once you check in on the another machine you just have to do get latest from Source control explorer .
