Allow range fields on request page of my reports

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I want to accomplish the following behaviour, allow the end user to enter filters on ranges the same way NAV allows. I have added some pictures to illustrate what I'm saying.

So far I have been able to relation my field (which is a text type) to the table "Vendor". But it only let me select one value if I try to mirror the behaviour above, the second value replaces the first one I picked.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have search everyone but haven't able to find something.

Open the page in designer mode and one of the field is Glaccount.. Press f9 to get into the code and you will see the code on the lookup of that field how it was implemented.

It is not possible with table relation property, you need to write your code on the Lookup of the field and execute the logic.

For example lookup at page 113 Budget, where the G/L Account filter has the option to select multiple values.

Quick suggestion is: check whether you can add Vendor No. field in ReqFilterFields of data item and not as an option in request page.
