Zetadocs Express: Document Dropping Issue

Hi,

I need to show a client the functionality of Zetadocs Express (NAV2009R2) and have managed to install and create the document library in Sharepoint (Foundation On-Premise).

I am able to successfully drag files (Word, Excel, PDF, etc) into NAV page but for some reason when trying to drag emails I get the following error message:

"Unexpected error during the operation. If the problem persists please contact your Administrator."

Any help of solution appreciated,

    Hi Ben,

    Can you ensure you have the latest version of Zetadocs Express for NAV installed (v5.3). If not, you can download the latest version from here.

    Version 5.3 was released last week, it can be used with NAV 2009 R2 & NAV 2013 and it resolves an issue that we found on non-English platforms with drag & drop of .msg files.

    You may also try registering the zetadocsCdo.dll which should be located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Equisys, in case this wasn't registered properly during the install.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the quick response and your help so far. It is much appreciated.

    - Outlook Version: Outlook 2010, Version: 14.0.6123.5001 (32-bit).

    - I can 'Save & Send' without a problem, pdf gets uploaded into SharePoint and Outlook opens as expected with the attachement.

    - Zetadocs Express in installed on English language platform (AU version).

    - I cannot drag and drop .msg files from the Desktop to NAV, I get the same error. I have also tried the 'Browse for local files to upload' and this also give the same error. I can however go directly to SharePoint and use the 'upload document' functionality to add a .msg file.

    Hope the above will help in finding a solution to the problem.

    Hello Ben,

    - Can you confirm that you are using Outlook 2010 (x86), this is a requirement.

    - Are you able to use 'Save & Send' function OK?

    - Have you installed Zetadocs Express on an English language platform?

    - If you drag and drop .msg file from the Desktop, does that work OK for you?
