    Hi Paul.

Check you batch job history on the batch job form, you will need to have logging enable for the batch job. Alternately check the last executed date/time.

    Thanks Jonathan.

But how do I check what specific batch server that executes the job? Since the batch jobs are executed using batch group that might have 2 or more batch servers.

    Hi Paul.

Unfortunately I don't know of anyway to determine which batch AOS the job actually executed on in the case of multiple batch servers linked to the same batch group.

If its a custom batch job, you could try logging this information yourself from code.

Highlight the batch job in which you are interested and click 'Batch job history'. Highlight the occurrence of that batch job executing in which you are interested and click 'View tasks'. Here, on the General tab, you can see the 'AOS instance name'. This is the AOS on which this execution of the job ran.

Thanks Guy. This one helps as well.

But the checking that I'm referring is somewhat testing the Batch server if it can process a task.

What I'm thinking right now is to create a batch group for each batch server then create batch that will use each of the batch group then log to table the batch server and date/time it executes. Maybe a recurring time of  3 minutes?

Are there a much better solution?

I'm not sure I understand why one batch server might not be able to execute a task, when another might....

But your approach sounds good. The only way you can control which batch server is used by a batch task (when you have multiple batch AOSes) is using Batch groups.

Another approach would be to temporarily enable only one AOS as a batch server, do your test, then enable only one different AOS as a batch server and test again. But I see no advantage doing it this way over your method.
