Saving attachments to Dynamics Files from Outlook

Hi there

Currently we save email attachments from Outlook to the local device, then browse to the Opportunity in Dynamics and upload it. If an email has been tracked to an Opportunity is it possible to save the attachment to the Files tab within an Opportunity directly from Outlook?

Are there any plugins or extensions that cater for this? Or is custom work required?

Hi partner,

At first my idea was to create a group in Outlook that I could upload attachments to SharePoint for that group. Because the documents in sales are stored in SharePoint and automatically synchronized.

It's uploaded to this default path. I'm stuck here and I want to add a new location, but something wrong. So maybe this is not possible.

Ideally, it's like this. This is the default site after the integration of sales and SharePoint, not the site from the group mentioned above. Unfortunately,this seems unsupported.

I had also tried the upload option but as you suggest it just adds it to the top level Sharepoint site.

I will continue to investigate.
