changing a pallet label in EDI

Hi I need to make a change on the pallet label for one of my customers who have said that they cannot scan in a label with a  special character. can anyone assist in the process involved? i need to understand where the changes are made and how it transfers through AX thanks

    You mention EDI. Do you have a third party ISV application or customizations for EDI? Can you also tell a bit more about your labels? What current settings and process do you have for the label printing?
