Ax2009 Sp1 Compatibility with Sql 2008 SP3 CU8

Can anyone tell me is AX2009 is compatible with Cumulative Update 8 for SQL 2008 SP3? I found that SP3 itself is definitely compatible but cannot find anything on CU8.

    Running a SQL Server 2008 on build 10.00.5500 (CU3) with a RU8 on AX 2009 SP1. Have not discovered any discrepancies that can be related to incompatibility with SQL Server.

    I would say they are compatible.

    If you want to test for sure, you would need to install a second SQL Server Instance (same server if enough hardware resources), patch it up to CU3 and copy a database over and test it, or take my word for it - it should work ok. :-)

    There is a lot of ground between Cu3 and CU8 for me to take your word for it.

    True. I misread CU8 and thought you meant RU8 of AX2009. Sorry.

    I would be surprised if they introduced any changes in SQL Server 2008 that would break compatibility with AX 2009 SP1, but I guess if you ask anyone, even Microsoft, they would encourage you to test anyway, at least if you're not running a standard AX 2009 SP1 without any customization.
