As SUPER user login to NAV configuration mode, I encounter error 'you do not have permission to TableData Profile: read"

As SUPER user, I was initially able to login to NAV configuration mode to work on configuring a profile.

After the first attempt, when I login again to continue on the profile, I get this error message on login validation:

"you do not have permission to TableData Profile: read"

I thought that the SUPER role ID would allow read access to all objects, so why is Profile table locked?

I tried to look for TableData Profile in Permissions page and could not find it.

Is there anyone who has encountered this error and found a way to fix it?

Thanks

Peter

    1) Confirm you still have the SUPER user permission set. Not SUPER (DATA) nor SUPER (NAVIPANE).

    2) Follow these links for direction: [View:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/how-to-open-microsoft-dynamics-nav-in-configuration-mode:750:50] , [View:https://help.lsnav80.lsretail.com/help/en/tskOpenNAVWindowsClientInConfigurationMode.htm:750:50] , [View:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav-app/admin-configure-user-interface:750:50]

    Hi Alfredo,

    Thanks for the link.

Actually the problem I face is a little beyond this.

I was initially about to login using Configuration Mode.  I went through some configuration of UI (Customize Page).

Then after I logged out and try to login again in Configuration Mode, I encountered the error.  I don't know why it had permission error when the first attempt was successful.

Log into NAV and add yourself as an administrator on the Permissions page. Maybe that'll work.

Make sure that you are SUPER user without company filter as well.

Thanks Teddy, in User settings, under User Group, I cannot assign a group without reference to a company.

In any case, I have assigned the user in SUPER user group.

And as suggested by Alfredo, I created an additional admin group and added "Permissions" page in the group permission.  The user is also assign to this admin group and also SUPER group.

    The user login functions well.

It is just when I try to login when prompted during Configuration Mode, that I encounter the error on TableData Permission: read error.
