on w-2 Employee dependent shows 0 amount. I have made changes on new employee added Dependent but then how it will reflect on W-2? Do we need to run any process?

FYI- Install YR end updates only and created Year End wage files.

Thanks

Really appreciate for your prompt reply. I did adjustment i.e. -negative entry on Federal Tax w/h and positive entry on FICA Medicare but I didn't recreate year end wage file.

    Let me try it again.

    Tks

Why this is happening is we take the Medicare wages or SS wages times the percent and expect that to be withheld, if it does not match, we kick out the error.

In your case 198484.25 * 1.45 = 2878.02 and you have 2911.85.  You either need to adjust the wages or withheld, then recreate the year end wage file and the error should go away.

    Terry,

Appreciate for your quick reply. Taxation is always problem for me.  I am having another Question. It will be greatly appreciate if you can clear it what we need to do. Financial controller says 33.83$ is overstated in w2. So I created negative Entry in Paryoll Manual Entry for Federal Tax and For FICA Medicare positive entry $33.83 but still get validation error.

    Appreciate for your help.

    Thanks Much.

If you go down to this part of that blog, it states the information will be accumulated for year end starting in the 2015 year, it is not required for 2014 year, ACA reporting.  We still need to make code changes to include the ACA information on W2's in a future code drop.

Expected to be included in a future release this year (2015):

The 1095-C (given to employee from the employer - like a W2- to show Employer Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage) and 1094-C (summary the employer fills out of all employees that received the 1095-C) forms will be added in Quarter 1 of 2015.

When you create the Year End Wage File for the 2015 year, all Affordable Care Act information you've been tracking will be accumulated to the year end tables, similar to how we accumulate the W2 information.

    Just like the W2:

•You can edit 1095-C information if needed.

•Edits will lost if the Year End Wage File is removed and recreated.

    Terry,

Client is saying 'dependent benefits on w-2 shows 0' amount.  As per this blog: community.dynamics.com/.../draft-microsoft-dynamics-gp-2014-year-end-release-affordable-health-care-act-2.aspx

It says to update Dependent  Care for employee screen but how it will reflect amount on w-2? Do we need to make manual changes on w-2?

Are you referring to the ACA changes?  We will have these changes in the March code drop, then the information for dependents and ACA will appear in your edit W2 window.
    Thanks
    Terry
