    I see.

In this case it can really make sense to manually change the status and post a new acquisition transaction.

    Have you tried doing that?

Should work fine in my opinion.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Thank you so much,

This is an equipment type Asset. A measure service has been done to this machine, so the management need to capitalize it.

    Hi noor1,

Wouldn't you like to create a new fixed asset rather than adding transactions to a fixed asset that has already reached the end of its lifecycle?

Of course you can reopen the status as Sreepriya mentioned but why would you like doing that?

Can you specify what fixed asset that is?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    RE: Fixed Asset acquisition

    Hi Noor,

If the status of the FA is showing as 'closed' you can set it back to 'open' status. Make sure that 'Allow multiple acquisitions' is marked in FA parameters which will allow you to post the acquisition transaction more than  once.

    Hope it will help you.

    Thanks,

    Sreepriya.
