新しく作った子会社でスモールスタートで始めるためにDynamics 365 Business Central（BC）を検討

※親会社でDynamics 365を利用。

途中で子会社の規模が多くなったので、親会社Dynamics 365に統合するとなった場合

Hello,

Don’t assume BC → Dynamics 365 (Finance/SCM) is an easy switch—it’s not the same system underneath. They don’t share the same tables or fields, and migration is typically a new implementation + data migration, not a simple upgrade.

Is it easy to move? → No. You can migrate master data, balances, and open transactions, but setups, customizations, reports, and processes usually need redesign.
Same table structure? → No. Business Central has its own tables, while other Dynamics 365 apps use Dataverse + data entities, so structures are different.
Same fields? → No. Some concepts overlap, but fields, granularity, and logic differ—no 1:1 mapping.

Bottom line: Starting with BC is fine, but if future consolidation is likely, align early on chart of accounts, dimensions, item/customer structure, and tax setup with the parent system to reduce migration pain later.

技術的には実現可能ですが、難易度は非常に高いと言わざるを得ません。私の経験上、日系グローバル企業では以下の『2層ERP（2-Tier）』構成が一般的です。

親会社：Dynamics 365　FO/SAPなど（高い、導入期間長い）
子会社：Dynamics 365　BCなど　（安い、導入期間短い）

システム上の『アップグレード』という形は取れますが、実際には容易ではありません。BCとF&Oではデータベース構造もカスタマイズ手法（開発言語やアーキテクチャ）も根本から異なるため、これまでの投資を活かすことは難しく、実質的にはゼロからの新規導入に近い工程が必要となります。ご参考になれば幸いです。
