Unbale to open LPO and unable to re-create - amount held

Posted on by 5

When creating a new LPO in GP, the application crashed, once restarted I cannot open the LPO from the transaction I get an error "You don't have access to this document type"

In the smart list the LPO is listed with amount "0", and when I try to re-create the LPO it gives an error "exceeded budget" so the amount is on hold but at the same time I cannot view it or create a new LPO with the same number as it already exists.

    Hello HindB,

This may be due to incorrect document status updated in PO table. You can check the POP10100 from backend and note down the POSTATUS field and you can update this field to 1 for the corrupted document.

Before running the below script make sure you run it on the test instance and confirm before executing on the production.

UPDATE POP10100 SET POSTATUS = 1 WHERE PONUMBER = 'Your PO Number'

    For your Reference PO Status

    1 – New

    2 – Released

    3 – Change Order

    4 – Received

    5 – Closed

    6 – Cancelled
