Electronic Reporting Changing labels

Posted on by 52

Dear all,

I want to work on the "fixed asset roll forward report" to translate it to German.

Can I change the existing labels? They don´t meet the requirements of my customer.

I can export the labels in .xml files but I have no possibility to change them.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance

Nicole

    Hello Nicole,

Do you need them in German language only or do you also need a translated English version?

If you need German only then 'hard code' (overwrite) them in the Excel template.

That might be the easiest and fastest way.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

I wanted to translate the Asset Roll Forward Report into German. I found some existing labels but they don´t seem to be related to the report. Now I found out how I could export them, change them and import them again but I cannot relate them in the data model. Is there any alternative to creating new labels?

    Hi Nicole,

If I understood correctly, you can change labels only if they were created in the same configuration. In my case, I created new labels in my configuration.
