Incorrect Sales Order Invoice account

Does anyone know what the best process is for correcting a sales order that has been placed on the wrong invoice account?

I'm assuming a sales credit memo to the incorrect account and then raise the order on the correct account but how do I ensure that the goods don't go out again? Ie an Invoice only?

We have Nav 2015

Hi Martyn,

Since you've shipped and invoiced this order, the only way to reverse it is to do the Sales Return Order and Credit Memo process. This will put the item back in stock and reverse the Invoice. Then you're going to want to start over with a new Sales Order; filled out correctly.

Hi

If you have already invoiced the order then you can post a sales credit memo and reverse the transaction. Then you can create a fresh order and proceed. If you have only shipped the items (not invoiced) then you can use a return order.
