Item Charges not associated with an order

Hello,

I am wanting to apply a credit to a customer that is a non-inventory credit to an order that is not in NAV. I do not have a way to apply to orders. Can I create a noninventory charge that is not associated with an order in standard nav? If so, how do I do this?

James

Do you mean NAV requires you to select the sales order before posting?

  • RE: Item Charges not associated with an order

yes. that is what  I want, But NAV is requiring me to apply it to a document.

Post a credit memo to reduce outstanding.

    Hi,

When you post a Credit Memo to Customer, the Customer's outstanding will be reduced, isn't that what you wanted?

  • RE: Item Charges not associated with an order

But I do not think that will create the credit to their account.

Select Type as G/L Account and pick the Charges related Account in the Sales Line as shown below.
