Dear All,

I know from blogs that the table having Table Group Property = Main OR Group can apply only "Full Text Index".

Is't mandatory to set "CreateRecIdIndex" to YES. Why ?

Can you please elaborate me why not use with other Table Group property ?

Please give me more shed on this.

    Hi,

    CreateRecIdIndex:

    Its a part of best practice to set property createdRecIdIndex to Yes.When we set this property to Yes an index gets created on RecordId field. If this property is set to No, recordId index on table is set to Passive.

    Hi,

    Full text index is usually recommended on fields which has spaces(embedded in a string) or for fields of type Memo.A table can have maximum of one full text index per table. Its has a limitation that full text index can be used only on table where table group is Main or Group as these tables have lesser records compared to other table types it might have this recommendation.
