Say for contact for instance. Every change to contacts show up in the global audit summary view, but say I want to view a history of changes to a single contact record. Is there a convenient way to do this?

    Hi Ben,

You could add Audit Summary View filter to point to one specified entity like following screenshots to get all contact entity audit data:

While there's no OOB filter for entity 'Record' filed in Audit Summary View. If you would like to search it. I would suggest you to download one Audit Explorer Plugin in Xrmtoolbox which could help you export all audit logs to xlsx and you could filter it manually by specified by record in excel.

More details regarding Audit Explorer: https://www.xrmtoolbox.com/plugins/MESquare.XrmToolBox.AuditExplorer/

    Hope the above would help.

    Regards

    Johnny

    You can use blow link

    Hi Ben

You can see the change history for single record from Audit History Associated view.

    1. Open the record which you want to see the change history.

    2.  At top ribbon after record name click on the arrow. you can see the Audit history entity.

In this entity you can see the all changes related to record.

(Note : for this you need to enable the entity level and field level audit)

    Hi

Like suggested above, the recommended approach to view the  history of a record is to open the record and in the related area, click on the Audit History.

The following screenshot is for Unified Interface

    Hi,

I believe you may have to have SQL database access to build a report on that field of information.

And because you are using CRM online that's your drawback.
