Hi, I have two vm´s in azure and are in a domain, one with database and other with AOS, I have already installed with CU7, after that I downloaded demo data (bak) and restored in SQL. So I executed provision_user_by_partition script to change users for my domain. After that my AOS service not started. There were release.sql script when you download demo data, but it not exist more. Anybody know how I fix it? Is this procedure correct?

    First thanks all guys,

It´s a new installation with CU7 included, and I put demo data. I will install again, what sequence you advise to me? Install release 2012 without CU7, put demo data and after that install CU7? Besides fix user with provision user (sql script), what more I must to do?

Here are some events that occur after extract demo data

Object Server 01:  Destroying cache objects for the main session.

Object Server 01:  Exiting kernel types for the main session.

Object Server 01:  Destroying user session with ID 1.

Object Server 01:  The database AX4BCU7BD\MicrosoftDynamicsAX_model is not recognized as a model store.

    Object Server 01:  SQL diagnostics: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'intranet\axinst'.. Connect information was: Userid = [], Database = [MicrosoftDynamicsAX], Server = [AX4BCU7BD], DSN = [], Other = []

Object Server 01:  Fatal SQL condition during login. Error message: "[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'intranet\axinst'."

Object Server 01:  Server terminated unexpectedly with 90 exitcode.

The error "Login failed for user 'intranet\axinst'" should be clear enough. I'm not sure what "database is not recognized as a model store" means, nevertheless let's solve the other problem first; they may be related.

I would reinstall AOS and let the installer to do everything needed in both the transactional and modelstore database. (I actually start with DB, since I got into similar troubles before).

    Hi,

The user axinst have right permissions in SQL and domain, this message ocurred because this user not are in new database, but I changed this user to other that exist, I put message only to knowledge.

Yesterday I created a new VM with database only and other with AOS client in a domain, both are clean without data.

Now I looking for a way to restore this demo data, but my afraid is happen the same situation the last 3 installations before, because fault this release.sql script before run provision_user.sql .

I will try this tips guys.

    Hi,

I got the script release.sql with a Microsoft enginner, see below. But now the AOS service show other error.

Windows could not start the Microsoft Dynamics AX Object Server 6.2.$01-MicrosoftDynamicsAX on local computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 100

    Script release.sql

Please do what the error already asked you to do - look into the event log. It's not enough to know that there is an error, you need to know what the error is.

Also, are you sure that you set NetworkDomain, NetworkAlias and SID to values correct in your Active Directory?
