Hi guys,

I'm new in this forum.

I would like to request help in my first challenge. For some reason when I try to search by the opportunity number doesn't work. How can I fix that?

Thank you

    Hello,

Have you added opportunity number to the list of Quick Find Fields?

    Hi partner,

    Agree with Andrew.

The opportunity number field is a custom field.

For custom fields, we need to add them to the "find" and "view" columns of the Quick Find Open Opportunities view.

Go to Customizations > Opportunity > Views, edit Quick Find Open Opportunities view (Quick Find View).

Click Add View Columns and Add Find Columns, add the opportunity number field.

    Save, then publish all customizations.

    Hello Ve Bivar,

1-You can add Opportunity Number in Quick Find View-> Add Find Column.

2-You can change system settings, Go to General tab, locate the ‘Set up Search’ section and click on ‘Select’ next to ‘Select Entities for Categorized Search’ and here you can also check use quick find view of an entity to searching on rods and sub-grids.

For details you can read : www.vaibhavwebhubb.online/.../quick-global-search-dynamics-crm

Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you'd mark this as a Verified answer.

    Thanks,

    Vaibhav
