Unable to Mark Quote as Won

Good day everyone,

We recently completed our first online migration dry-run and installed PSA on that environment. As we are moving through our validation testing, we are noticing that we are unable to mark quotes as won. In essence, when we click the Mark as Won button, we get the confirmation message, a spinner and then the quote remains in Draft status. Moreover, no contract is created. Additionally, we also created a trial environment where we also installed PSA and this very same set of steps works in that environment.

We have no custom scripts on the form we are using and we have removed all company-specific plugins from the non-working instance.

Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Oliver,

I have tried to reproduce your issue but failed.

I found that when the quote is closed as Won, the draft contract with the same name will be created and opened.

So I assume that the contract has actually been generated, but because it was opened directly, it was misunderstood to remain on the quote page.

Hello Nya,

Unfortunately, I wish it were that. In our case, the quote remains in draft status after clicking the button. It is not that we are routed to the contract.

Hi,

I noticed that the text in your screenshot is different from the default field name shown in the form.

For example, the Quote title in Project Information form is shown as Name by default and Quote&Proposal is shown as Quote in my environment.

Have you made some customizations on it?

The name is coming from our upgrade instance. Additionally, other than the PSA customizations, there are no other customizations in that entity.

Closing a quote is known to be a bit buggy sometimes. I would look at both plug-in trace logs and system jobs for any clues. The next step would then be a support request as this is OOTB code, which is quite difficult to properly diagnose without support.
