Hi,
we have some users that would like to sync only specific contacts with dynamics 365. How would we go about this? In the best case scenario we would be able to mark certain contacts in outlook with a tag or something and than apply a synchronization filter in dynamics.
Best RegardsCrownd
Did you want to sync the contacts in Outlook to Dynamics CRM?
If yes I’m afraid that tracking contacts in Dynamics 365 for Outlook is a manual process.

For specific contacts, you can add a custom field which the data type is Yes/No.
Add the field to the contact form and set the value to Yes when you want to sync this contact with outlook.
Then modify the online synchronization filters.
You can see more details about synchronization filters in the following link.

Thanks Eiken for you quick response.
Makeing a Boolean field for syncing certain contacts or not already helps, however, this is still not quite what we are aiming for here since the contact would already have to be in dynamics for this to work right?
Essentially we have an address book in outlook with loads of contacts of which some are already also in dynamics and some are not. Now we would like to quickly add specific contacts from the one's that are not already in the CRM. What would be the fastest way to do so?
Best Regards
Matthias
I'm afraid that you need to add manually.
Click the contacts and select tract.
