Database log - AssetBook

Posted on by 170

We need to setup the database log to "Placed in service" (UsedFromDate) field of AssetBook table. But when we try to check the database log, do not show what is the AssetId that was changed. Is it possible change the setup to show the AssetId? Thanks!

    Hi Rafael,

If your question has been answered, would you mind to mark the correct answer ('Did this answer your question?  > Yes)? Then the status will be set to verified.

Hi, Please test enabling the 'use from date' field that you can find in the database log in the following section:

Fixed assets / Value model by fixed asset / UsedFromDate.

Once you selected this field enable the 'update' parameter in the next window and finish the setup of the wizard.

I tested this in my Ax2012R3 demo environment and things worked fine.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Rafael,

The records details is not presenting the Asset ID? Does it present the correct changed date value for the "Placed in service" field? If so, try to include the AssetID field in the database log setup.
