Sales Order opens by itself

Posted on by 543

Hi,

When I in NAV 2017 in Sales Order List (page 9305) press the "New" button, it opens the Sales Order page (page 42). I then make the new sales order and invoice it using F9.

This makes the new Sales Order dissappear and one of the other Sales Orders from the Sales Order List opens up in the Sales Order page in edit mode.

Why does it open an old Sales Order and how do I make sure that it does not do that?

Hope you can help me :-)

    Thank you for helping me.

I found out that when you create a new sales order and invoice it, then NAV does not close the page. But when you open an existing sales order and invoice it, then NAV closes the page. I have changed that now, so that if I cannot GET the record after invoicing it, then I call CurrPage.CLOSE.

Ideally, the page should close as per the event defined by you. But, as it's not happening do check if the CLOSE function is being called or not. May be you had some customisation because of this the change occurred. Please check the respective code unit for the CLOSE function being called.
