Employee benefit period cannot be deleted while dependant Employee plans exist. Delete dependant Employee plans and try again.

Posted on by 5

Hi there,

I am running through the benefits renewal process for my company, and as a means to test I have enrolled myself in the new period.

I have not selected any benefits in employee benefits self-service, and have tried to then delete the period from my record (Worker benefits plans, in Benefits Management).

I am then hit with the error message "Employee benefit period cannot be deleted while dependant Employee plans exist. Delete dependant Employee plans and try again.".

As far as I understand it, since I have no selected benefits or confirmed benefits for that period, I should not be hitting this.

I have tested this in the sandbox and have been able to remove it without issue.

    Hi sir,

Can you specify which environment you tested in and got the error?
